MacFarlane’s pliable pipes, limbered up from years of making funny cartoon voices, are the perfect instrument for a wide range of holiday fare, and the backing band kicks, too. “A Marshmallow World” has a hint of Sinatra, while on “The Christmas Song,” accompanied by delicate jazz piano, he sounds surprisingly sentimental. And he holds his own against Norah Jones on the playful "Little Jack Frost Get Lost."
