I'm sending me for Christmas, I didn't think you'd mind,
I haven't seen you, mom and dad, for such a long, long time.
I've spent my Christmas money for a ticket in the air.
By the time you read your card, I'll be there.

So when you see me coming, don't look for gifts with bows,
For all I'll have are kisses for the ones that I love so.
There won't be any presents from me under the tree.
For this year for Christmas, I'm sending me.

You know, it seems like forever since I've seen mom and

the old home place. But I can still see her decorating that tree.

Dad hanging out stockings by the fire place, even though I

haven't seen you, these memories still make me warm and

When I get home the first thing I'm gonna do is, wrap you both

In my loving arms. For you see, I've come to realize, that

Family is one of the greatest gifts anyone could have.

So I thank God I can go home to a mom and dad.

For how can some paper, wrap a hug or two
How can a box hold all the love, I have for you.
But I'm sending these things special,
They'll arrive on Christmas Eve.
Cause this year for Christmas, I'm sending me.
